Sustainable construction

The environment and sustainable building are at the core of Bouygues Construction’s strategy. This major issue of our time is at the centre of our concerns and the key challenge our teams face. We build, of course, but our focus is on sustainable building in cooperation with industrial companies, associations and institutions, always with the same goal: building for the long-term by providing solutions to the future users of our buildings or amenities and preserving natural resources.

Solar farm in Japan: a first!

Equis Energy, Asia‐Pacific’s largest renewable energy Independent Power Producer, has selected Bouygues Energies & Services and Toho Electrical (Toho) to build a 13.7 MW solar project in Noheji, in the north of Japan. A first step for the Group in the country!

Floatgen honoured at the Energy Transition Trophies awards

The Floatgen project, the largest offshore wind turbine in France on which construction is soon due to be completed in the port of Saint-Nazaire, has won the Usine Nouvelle 2017 Renewable Energies Trophy for Energy Transition at the ceremony organised on Tuesday 16 May in the presence of Jean Jouzel, climatologist and former vice-president of GIEC.

A panorama of solar farms

"Our subsidiaries Bouygues Thai and Bouygues Energies & Services, in a joint venture with the local company McTric, have built four solar farms in Ayutthaya, 100km north of Bangkok,in Thailand. Back in pictures on this amazing project: 

COP22: inventing the world of tomorrow!

Since 7 November, the 22nd Conference of the Parties (COP22) has been taking place in Marrakesh. The objective of this 2-week conference is to continue and to intensify the fight against climate change.
