Eco-neighbourhood

Bouygues Construction is actively involved in making cities more environmentally-friendly by creating eco-neighbourhoods. This commitment is part of our desire to improve living conditions and entitles us to be the leader in sustainable construction.

The eco-neighbourhood is the closest urban construction project towards sustainable development. Housing, offices, shops and services: the eco-neighbourhood stands out because of its multifunctional approach to a residential area. To cut down on journeys, soft modes of transport are prioritised e.g. pedestrianised streets, cycle lanes. Eco-neighbourhoods go hand in hand with social diversity to promote exchanges among residents. To improve living conditions, eco-neighbourhoods have green landscape designs that are adapted to the environment.
