Terre Plurielle foundation

The Terre Plurielle foundation is Bouygues Construction’s company foundation which, since 2009, has been supporting social and humanitarian projects. The foundation has two main missions: to provide emergency assistance when a natural disaster takes place and to provide financial aid to projects sponsored by Bouygues Construction staff. To bolster this action, the Terre Plurielle foundation signed a partnership letter of intent in 2014. This was signed with other major groups to provide aid in times of humanitarian crises.

The Terre Plurielle foundation has determined the fields of application for its actions: health, disability, education and integration. Medical research is not part of its field of intervention however, and the Terre Plurielle Foundation doesn’t support certain projects due to their denominational or political nature for example, nor once-off or profit-based projects.

As part of sponsorship, the sponsor (or several employees) suggest that the Terre Plurielle foundation support an association’s project. As a result, the sponsor is committed to the ethical nature and quality of the project. The sponsor is a key actor in the project as they also ensure the project is supervised, alongside the Terre Plurielle foundation. This is carried out from the development stage with the association right up to the completion of the financed project.
