It is time for an initial assessment of the Philharmonie de Paris, which opened in January 2015. Assuredly a success since the building has already welcomed nearly 500,000 visitors. The reasons for this enthusiasm? The "canopy" or acoustic cloud in the main hall which provides a listening quality unmatched by any hall in Paris.
